Our last dinner dance at Tioga Downs was a rousing success in that it was good see one another as TCSCers in a fun setting, get to know each other better, and dance the night away to Splash! I was so pumped that I decided to do a repeat dinner at PJ Clarke’s since the food was amazing and this time we’ll dance to the FREE music of Rooster and the Roadhouse Horns.
FLEX GUESTS: You may come at 5 pm for Winterfest (see below) and, or 6 pm for dinner at PJ Clarke's or skip both the 5 pm and 6 pm events and just meet for dancing at 9 pm.
Tioga Downs' Winterfest starts on Saturday, November 26 at 5 pm with free Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides on the track to see the light display. I'll be there early at 4:45 pm wearing warm outer clothes and TCSC peeps can ride in the wagon together. Afterward, you can enjoy the Craft Fair on your own until dinner time.
We'll meet for dinner at PJ Clarke’s at 6 pm under an RSVP for Triple Cities Ski Club/Jill Darling. Register here and I’ll make reservations for our group the day before our date. Dress is nice casual attire.
We had a table of eight before and the only negative was that they don’t do separate checks for eight, so we morphed into high-finance figuring afterward. Also, just to know ahead of time, in addition to an automatic 20% gratuity, plus a !0% resort fee there's 8% tax. In order to have separate checks, we’ll limit our table number to seven so that we don’t have to deal with splitting the cost of one check. If we need another table or two of seven or less people, we’ll plan for that as well.
Afterward, we’ll get done in time to find a table in the SideShow Lounge at the back side of the Casino where Rooster and the Roadhouse Horns will perform from 9 pm to 12 am. Space in the lounge is limited and it’s first-come, first-served, so I recommend making it a priority to get a table before going other places during the interim until the band begins at 9 pm. A few people can take turns saving the table. Most of us won’t be staying until midnight, so you’re on your own once the host (moi) leaves for the night between 11 pm - 11:30 pm.
Come out for a relaxing evening with other TCSC peeps as a pre-ski season gathering. It's a good thing to stay connected and this is a great way to solidify those bonds. We have so much to be thankful for—let’s celebrate our friendship with one another and also meet new people who join in and welcome them to our club.
