Tim Hanna won't be dazzling you with his paddling skills and yoga finesse. If you weren't there last time, you missed it. If you were there, you also missed it. Thanks for being the poster boy to tease people into coming, like Amy Kuczka (first in the lineup), who's new to TCSC, and was hoping to witness Tim in action. Not happening. anytime. soon.
Enjoy a summer evening on beautiful Whitney Point Lake at Dorchester Park (free entry). We'll meet in the large parking lot, seen as you drive down the entrance road, and paddle or sail for a couple of hours. Afterward, we'll meet at The Scoop ice cream shop, Rt 11, Whitney Point. Bring your kayak, canoe, small sailboat or paddle board or rent them at the park. There are two paddle boards available to rent. Rentals are first come, first served.
Kayaks and canoes faired better than stand up paddle boards on our last paddle because the wind made it a bit choppy and required more exertion to get anywhere. Good workout though.
